University ‘Artefact’ brief (2024).
A university project to create a personal artefact. I drew inspiration from my time studying in Paris and from historical playing card designs in the V&A. The outcome was a unique deck of cards designed first with Lino-cut printmaking.
Each card design was carved first and printed with linocut.
research began with looking at museum artefacts, sculpture, historical designs, places and memories.
